we can make a difference

Practice Areas

Our process applies techniques from a variety of disciplines.

01

Data Collection

A Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA) is a rapid, holistic data-collection tool that gathers essential baseline information across key humanitarian sectors. It examines displacement status (whether households are IDPs, in host communities, or returnees) and their specific challenges; assesses food security by looking at market access and coping strategies when food is scarce; evaluates access to cash and markets, including any liquidity constraints; and identifies protection concerns such as exposure to explosive hazards and threats to personal safety—thereby providing a comprehensive understanding of vulnerable populations’ needs.

02

Food distribution

Food assistance interventions provide in-kind food or market vouchers to the most vulnerable IDPs, returnees, and host-community households—especially female-headed families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities—while delivering targeted school feeding for primary-age children in the hardest-hit areas. A UNICEF nutrition survey for example or HRP report will pinpoint malnourished pupils, and we will work with local authorities to ensure assistance reaches those who need it most

03

Empower

Capacity‐building initiative in Libya will deliver market-relevant technical and vocational training to both host-community members and IDPs, while integrating essential soft-skills—communication, business planning, feasibility analysis, and marketing—to empower participants to secure private-sector employment or launch their own small enterprises
